**Weekly Reflection: Prioritizing Family and Creativity**

This week, I find myself out of town, spending cherished time with family. Family has always been a cornerstone of my life, and I’m grateful for these moments to reconnect, laugh, and create lasting memories. It’s a reminder of the importance of focusing on what truly matters, even while striving to maintain my routines and goals.

I want to take a moment to send a heartfelt shout-out to my incredible husband for holding down the fort while I’m away. Sometimes we can’t both leave, and he always steps up. From managing the homestead and keeping the website running smoothly to braving the storm, your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. I’m so grateful for you—not just for what you do, but for the unwavering love and support you always show. Thank you. I love you and miss you!

During this time away, I’m working to strike a balance between maintaining my personal goals and embracing the flexibility that family time requires. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth every effort. By staying intentional, I’m able to be present with my loved ones while still nurturing my creative side.

### Goals for the Week

This week, I’m focusing on a mix of family-oriented and creative projects:

1. **Quality Time with Family**

Spending time with loved ones is my top priority. I’m especially excited to connect with the grandkids and nephews—they bring so much energy and joy to every moment.

2. **Creating Art with the Grandkids**

One of my greatest joys is creating alongside the grandkids. Whether it’s diving into fun art projects, looming, or having an epic dance party, these moments are about more than the activities themselves. They’re about laughter, creativity, and meaningful connections. These hands-on experiences allow us to bond in a special way, creating not just art but also cherished memories.

3. **Supporting and Nurturing Relationships with Our Adult Kids**

While visiting, I want to be a helpful presence for our adult children. Whether it’s lending a hand with the grandkids, helping around the house, or simply spending quality time together, I’m here to offer encouragement and support.

4. **Sharing Art**

Art remains an important outlet for me. This week, I plan to share videos of the artwork I completed last week, celebrating the creative process and connecting with others through it.

5. **Art Auction Fundraiser**

My nephews are raising money for their 5P football league to help with fees and travel expenses. To support them, I’ve decided to donate five pieces of my artwork for an auction, with all proceeds going to their cause.

### Embracing Flexibility and Presence

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Case in point: I left my bag with all my work for the week at home—2.5 hours away 🤦‍♀️. Instead of letting it derail me, I’m choosing to give myself grace and adapt.

This week, I’m focusing on finding joy in the little moments—a heartfelt conversation, a shared laugh, creating art with the grandkids, or simply sitting quietly with family.

As the week unfolds, I’ll keep my goals in mind while staying open to the spontaneity that makes family time so special. Here’s to a week filled with connection, creativity, and love.

What are your goals for the week? Let’s inspire each other!
