Creative Momentum: Weekly Goals and Projects
Last week, I felt like I truly found my creative rhythm. That sense of flow is something I want to hold onto and build on. To do that, I need to stay on track with my projects and goals, refining my process along the way. Here’s a breakdown of what I’m focusing on this week.
Artistic Endeavors
This week is all about exploring new techniques, experimenting with different media, and pushing myself to create pieces I’m proud of:
-Oil Pastel Practice: Taking time to work on blending and shading techniques.
-Drawing for Aden: A special, personalized piece that I’m excited to work on.
-Bookshelf Painting: Continuing to work on the picture of my bookshelf. Working on realism.
-“Four Seasons” Tree Painting: This is my fun long term a watercolor and ink project.
Alaskan Landscape: Capturing the beauty of a picture from a friend.
Fun Piece: Allowing myself some freedom to create for pure enjoyment.
Flower Brushes: Completing this fun painting.
Social media Goals
Combining my artwork with video content is something I’m passionate about, and this week I plan to:
-Create a “Watch Me Paint” video that’s short, engaging, and perfect for reels.
-Begin practicing for a “Paint With Me” tutorial, focusing on:Wet-on-Wet Technique
Dry-on-Dry Technique
Playing with color combinations.
These videos will help me share my process, connect with others, and explore a new medium of storytelling.
-Also a big goal on social media is to continue to engage with the art community.
Crafting Goals
In addition to painting and drawing, I’m diving into some cozy crafting projects:
-Fingerless Gloves: Making a matching glove to complete the pair.
-Scarf: Finishing up this project, perfect for the season.
-Blanket: Working bit by bit on this long-term project.

Staying organized is a big priority for me, so I’ve set aside time for:
Writing a blog post on Monday to reflect on my goals and projects.
Posting on Wednesday with updates and my “Watch Me Paint” video.
Saturday I will be sharing my adventures from the week.
